Jeans fit is developed around your target silhouette, size chart and reference sample. Key measurements such as waist, hip, rise, thigh, inseam and leg opening are reviewed during sampling before bulk production.
- Fit adjusted through sample revisions
- Measurements checked against approved size specs
- Construction details confirmed before bulk production

Confirm Your Jeans Sample
Before Bulk Production
Each custom denim jeans project goes through a sample stage before bulk production is arranged. The approved sample establishes the benchmark for fit, fabric, wash, hardware, and labelling.
What the Sample Confirms
Fit profile and wearing silhouette
Waist, hip, inseam, crotch depth, and leg opening -- verified against your size chart.
Measurements and post-wash shrinkage
Size tolerances and dimensional change after washing are checked and confirmed.
Fabric colour and distressing level
Wash tone, hand-feel, and degree of distressing are approved against reference or test sample.
Pockets, hardware, labels, and stitching
Construction details, placement, and all trim components are verified on the sample.
Packaging requirements
Hangtag, polybag, folding method, and carton specifications confirmed before production.

-- Bulk Production Quality Inspection
How we inspect
every bulk order.
The approved sample becomes the production standard. Bulk garments are inspected against it across six key areas. Minor batch variation is inherent to garment washing -- our QC process defines and controls the acceptable range before shipment.
Approved Sample as Production Standard
Before bulk cutting begins, the client-approved sample -- along with confirmed size specs, fabric, trims, wash references, artwork placement, and packaging -- is locked as the production benchmark. All QC checks during and after production are measured against this standard, not against a general specification.
Measurement & Size Tolerance
Key measurements -- waist, hip, inseam, rise, thigh, and leg opening -- are checked against the approved size chart. A working tolerance of ±1 cm applies to most seam dimensions; waistband width is held to ±0.5 cm. Garments outside tolerance are separated for review before shipment.
Post-Wash Shrinkage Inspection
Finished garments are measured both before and after washing to assess dimensional change. Shrinkage rates are compared against the values confirmed on the approved sample. Denim naturally varies by batch; acceptable shrinkage is defined per product during sampling and used as the control range for bulk.
Wash Colour & Distressing Consistency
Wash tone depth, overall colour cast, and distressing placement are compared visually against the approved wash sample. Some natural variation between pieces is expected and acceptable in garment-washed denim -- the inspection ensures the batch stays within a defined visual range, not that every unit is identical.
Stitching & Hardware Attachment
Seam integrity, stitch density, and bartack placement are checked at stress points -- crotch seam, pocket corners, belt loops, and fly. Rivets, buttons, and zips are tested for secure attachment and correct function. Loose threads, skipped stitches, and uneven topstitching are flagged during finishing inspection.
Label & Packaging Verification
Main label, care label, size label, and hangtag are checked for correct content, positioning, and attachment method. Packaging -- polybag size, folding style, carton markings, and barcode accuracy -- is verified against client-confirmed specs. Any discrepancy in label placement or packaging format is corrected before packing begins.
Final Appearance & Batch Acceptance
Each garment receives a full appearance review -- checking for stains, pulls, uneven hems, and overall presentation. Batch variation in wash tone and distressing is assessed as a group, not per individual piece. Garments meeting the defined acceptable range ship; outliers are held back for client review. We do not guarantee zero variation, but we do define and control what ships.
A note on batch variation: Garment-washed and enzyme-treated denim involves hand and mechanical processes that naturally produce slight variation between pieces. Our QC process does not aim to eliminate this -- it defines an acceptable range based on the approved sample and ensures the bulk order ships within that range. Tolerances and acceptance criteria are discussed and agreed during the sample stage.
