Custom Clothing Quality Control

Quality Standards
Confirmed
Before Production

Before bulk production begins, we establish clear quality inspection criteria based on the materials you have already approved. The confirmed sample, tech pack, and production specifications become the reference standard for every inspection that follows.

  • Approved sample and confirmed tech pack
  • Size chart and agreed measurement tolerances
  • Fabric and trim specifications
  • Color standards and artwork requirements
  • Printing, embroidery or washing details
  • Labels, hangtags, packaging and carton requirements

Fabric, Cutting
and Sewing
Inspections

Checks begin when fabric arrives and continue through cutting and sewing. Issues identified early prevent them from carrying forward into finished garments.

Fabric Verification

Color, weight, hand feel and visible defects checked against approved fabric standards before cutting begins.

Trims and Accessories

Zippers, buttons, threads, labels and all accessories matched to confirmed specifications.

Cutting Accuracy

Panel dimensions, fabric direction, pattern placement and panel alignment reviewed after cutting.

Stitching and Seams

Seam quality, stitch density, structural details and key measurements checked during sewing.

Decoration and
In-Process Quality Checks

After each decoration process is completed, we check the results against the confirmed sample or approved artwork before the garment moves to the next stage. Complex techniques are verified on a pre-production sample before bulk execution.

Print Inspection

Position, size, color accuracy and surface quality of screen, puff, rubber and DTG prints checked against confirmed artwork.

Embroidery Checks

Placement accuracy, thread quality, density and edge finishing reviewed on each embroidered panel.

Applique and Trims

Applique attachment, special decoration details and trim placement verified against the confirmed sample.

Garment Washing

Washing effect, color variation, hand feel and dimensional change checked. Results compared with the approved wash standard.

Artwork Alignment

Alignment between print or embroidery placement and garment structure -- panels, seams and balance points -- reviewed before final assembly.

Semi-Finished Review

Key semi-finished garments inspected before final assembly to catch issues while corrections are still straightforward.

Where colour consistency is affected by fabric characteristics or process variables, acceptable ranges are agreed with the client before bulk production begins.

— Garment Measurement Inspection

Finished Garment

Quality requirements vary by product

Different products, fabrics and techniques require different inspection priorities. We encourage clients to share their quality requirements, measurement tolerances, packaging specifications or existing inspection checklists at the start of the project — so we can align our process with your standards from the beginning.
