Fabric Composition,
GSM & Hand-feel
Confirmation
Before sample development begins, we confirm the fabric specification based on the intended product -- including fiber composition, GSM, weave or knit structure, stretch, thickness, and surface hand-feel.
Fabric selection cannot be reliably judged from images alone. We provide physical fabric swatches for review, and where needed, we produce a fabric-stitched sample or pre-production garment to confirm how the material performs in the actual construction.

Color Swatches, Pantone
& Batch Management
We support multiple reference formats for color communication. What matters most is establishing a confirmed physical standard before bulk production begins.
Color Reference Formats
Clients may provide a Pantone number, a physical color swatch, a reference fabric, or an approved sample garment. We use these references to guide the lab dip process and color matching.
Lab Dip & Approval
For custom-dyed fabrics, we produce lab dips -- small dyed fabric samples -- for color review and approval. Bulk production only proceeds after the lab dip has been confirmed by both parties.
Fabric Batch Management
Fabric is sourced and managed by batch to support color consistency across the production run. Where possible, we arrange fabric from a single dye lot for each colorway in an order.
A Note on Pantone References
Pantone numbers are a useful starting point for color communication, but they do not guarantee an exact match on fabric. The final color standard is always the confirmed physical sample -- lab dip, approved fabric swatch, or pre-production garment -- agreed upon by both parties before bulk production.

Custom Dyeing &
Reasonable Color
Variation
Custom fabric dyeing is evaluated on a project basis, taking into account fiber composition, fabric construction, order quantity, and the dyeing process required. Not every color or fabric type is suitable for custom dyeing, and feasibility is assessed before commitment.
In garment production, a degree of color variation between dye lots, production batches, and after finishing processes is a normal characteristic of the manufacturing process. We do not promise zero color difference or absolute uniformity across all units. Our goal is to manage variation within a reasonable and agreed range, using confirmed physical standards as the reference.
1 Dye Lot Variation
Fabrics dyed in different vats or at different times may show subtle color differences, even when produced to the same specification. This is inherent to the dyeing process.
2 Finishing Processes
Post-dyeing finishing treatments -- including heat setting, softening, and other fabric treatments -- can affect the final color appearance compared to the raw dyed fabric.
3 Production Batch Consistency
We check color consistency across production batches during manufacturing, using the confirmed physical standard as the reference. Significant deviations from the approved sample are flagged for review.
4 Agreed Color Standard
The confirmed lab dip or pre-production sample serves as the production color standard. Any acceptable tolerance is discussed and agreed with the client before bulk production begins.

Multi-Fabric Color Matching
& Wash Treatment Risks
Different fabric types absorb dye differently and reflect light differently. Achieving a visually consistent color across mixed materials requires careful evaluation -- not just a shared Pantone reference.
Fabric Type Affects Color Appearance
Cotton, polyester, ribbed knit, jersey, and other materials absorb dye at different rates and reflect light differently. Even when dyed to the same Pantone reference, the visual result on each fabric type will vary.

- ✦ Ribbed and knit structures can show color differently due to surface texture
- ✦ Blended fabrics produce results that depend on fiber ratio
Wash Treatments Alter Color
Garment washing, enzyme wash, stone wash, pigment dyeing, and other wash treatments are applied after sewing and will further change the color outcome. The effect depends on the fabric, dye type, and wash parameters.

Matching Sets & Panel Products
For co-ord sets, two-piece garments, or any product that combines different fabric types in the same colorway, pre-production sampling is essential. We strongly recommend confirming color across all component fabrics together -- not separately -- before bulk production is approved.
We do not guarantee that different fabric types will achieve a visually identical color result, even when dyed to the same reference. What we commit to is transparent communication, proper sampling, and clear confirmation before bulk begins.

Bulk Color Confirmation
Before Production
Before bulk production begins, a confirmed physical color standard is established and agreed upon by both parties. Depending on the product and process, this reference may be an approved lab dip, a confirmed fabric swatch, a pre-production sample, or a confirmed garment sample -- whichever most accurately represents the expected bulk outcome.
Throughout production, fabric batches are checked against this confirmed standard at key stages including cutting and sewing. Where color inconsistencies or deviations are identified, we communicate with the client before the affected batch proceeds. Nothing ships without client awareness of significant differences from the approved reference.
Approved Physical Standard
An approved lab dip, confirmed fabric swatch, pre-production sample, or confirmed garment sample is agreed upon by both parties and serves as the definitive color reference for the entire production run.
In-Process Batch Checks
Fabric batches are compared against the approved physical standard during cutting and sewing stages. Inconsistencies between batches are identified early before they affect a larger portion of the order.
Clear Communication
Any color deviation identified during production is communicated to the client before the affected batch proceeds. We do not ship goods with significant color differences from the confirmed reference without the client's full awareness and decision.
