The right embroidery technique depends on your artwork, garment fabric, placement, and the visual effect you need. We assess each project individually before recommending an approach.
Clean, precise, versatile.
Flat embroidery produces a smooth, even surface that suits brand logos, wordmarks, fine line artwork, and small-to-medium designs. It works across a wide range of fabrics and placements, making it the most commonly used technique in clothing brand production.

Raised, bold, dimensional.
3D puff embroidery is stitched over a foam backing, creating a raised, three-dimensional effect on the garment surface. It works well for bold text, clean block letterforms, and simple graphic shapes. Designs with very fine detail or complex outlines require assessment before confirmation.

Layered, textural, expressive.
Appliqué combines fabric pieces with embroidery stitching to create layered, textural designs. It suits larger graphics, oversized lettering, and streetwear compositions that benefit from material contrast. The fabric used for the appliqué piece is assessed alongside the base garment.

Embroidery results are not determined by technique alone. Placement location, artwork dimensions, fabric construction, and thread choice all influence what can be achieved in production. We review each of these factors before confirming the approach.
Placement Positions
Common positions we work with across garment types:
Artwork & Stitch Density
Artwork size and stitch density directly affect the finished look. Smaller designs with fine detail require higher digitizing precision. Overly dense stitch settings on lightweight fabrics can cause puckering. We set density according to the confirmed artwork and fabric combination.
Fabric Weight, Stretch & Surface
Lighter fabrics, stretch materials, and textured surfaces -- such as waffle knit, French terry, or denim -- may require adjusted stitch density, modified artwork, or additional backing to maintain stability. Not all designs are directly transferable across different fabrics without review.
Thread Color & Visual Contrast
Thread color selection affects how embroidery reads against the garment. We match thread colors to your reference or Pantone specification and confirm them during the sample stage before bulk production begins.
Please note: We do not confirm that every artwork and fabric combination can be produced without review. Clients are encouraged to submit their product, fabric details, and logo for a feasibility assessment before sampling.

Before bulk embroidery begins, we follow a structured confirmation process. This ensures that what goes into production matches the sample you approved.

Artwork and Garment Review
We review your logo or artwork file, the garment construction, intended fabric, and desired placement. This stage identifies any constraints before digitizing begins.

Embroidery Digitizing and Specification Setup
Your artwork is digitized for embroidery production. Stitch type, density, direction, and underlay are set according to the artwork complexity and fabric characteristics.

Thread Color and Placement Confirmation
Thread colors are matched to your reference or Pantone specification. Exact placement measurements and size are confirmed in writing before the sample is produced.

Embroidery Sample or Garment Sample
A sample is produced on the actual garment or a representative fabric swatch. Sample type and quantity are confirmed based on the project scope and order context.

Client Review and Adjustment
You review the sample against your artwork and requirements. Any adjustments to thread color, density, size, or placement are made and re-confirmed before bulk approval.

Approved Sample as Bulk Standard
The approved sample becomes the reference standard for bulk production. All production units are measured against this standard throughout the run.

Bulk Embroidery and Quality Inspection
Bulk embroidery is carried out and inspected before shipment. Each garment is checked for logo position, size, thread color, stitch density, edge definition, loose or broken threads, and fabric puckering or distortion.
