We start by understanding
what you want to build.
Before any sample work begins, we review the design materials you provide and assess whether the product structure, fabrics, and techniques are ready for development. This step ensures that both sides have a clear and aligned understanding of the project.
What You Can Submit
You don't need a complete tech pack to start. We work with whatever design materials you currently have.

What We Evaluate
We review your materials against production requirements before committing to development, so that the process starts on solid ground.
- Whether the product structure and construction can be produced as intended
- Whether the fabric and trim requirements are suitable for the design and workmanship
- Whether the pattern and measurement information is sufficient to begin development
- Whether printing, embroidery, washing or other techniques are compatible with the design
- Which details need further clarification or adjustment before development proceeds
Note: Not every design can proceed directly to production without adjustment. Our assessment is based on the materials provided, product structure, fabric requirements, and technical complexity. We will communicate any concerns clearly before development begins.

The core of garment prototype development is translating your design intent into a physical sample that can be evaluated, adjusted, and ultimately approved for bulk production.

Fabric & Trim Matching
Fabric and Trim Matching
Based on the product's positioning, intended construction, and design requirements, we source and evaluate fabric options across composition, weight, hand feel, colour, and cost. Trims -- including zippers, buttons, drawcords, labels, and hardware -- are selected to match the product structure and brand aesthetic.
Pattern Development
Patterns are developed based on your tech pack, size specifications, reference images, or physical garment samples. We establish and adjust block patterns to reflect the intended silhouette, proportions, and construction details of your product.
Where measurement information is incomplete, we work with you to clarify the required dimensions before proceeding, so that the first prototype is as close to your expectations as possible.

Pattern Development
Fit and Silhouette
03We confirm garment length, circumference measurements, shoulder structure, sleeve construction, trouser shape, and overall silhouette to ensure the sample reflects the wearing effect your brand is aiming for. Fit is reviewed against your size chart and adjusted accordingly.
First Prototype Sample
04Once fabric, trims, and pattern are ready, we produce the first prototype sample. This physical garment is used to evaluate overall appearance, dimensional accuracy, structural construction, fabric performance, and the execution of any applied techniques. It serves as the starting point for review and feedback.

A sample isn't just visual --
it's a production test.
Beyond fit and appearance, the prototype is used to test whether the specific techniques required for your product can be executed consistently and at scale. This is a critical step before bulk production begins.
Printing Tests
Screen printing, rubber, puff, discharge, and DTG print tests to verify colour accuracy, placement, hand feel, and durability on the selected fabric.
Embroidery
Flat, 3D, appliqué, and chenille embroidery samples produced to confirm stitch density, thread colour, sizing, placement, and fabric compatibility.
Garment Washing
Garment-dyed, enzyme-washed, stone-washed, and distressed effects tested on sample pieces to evaluate colour tone, surface texture, and dimensional change after washing.
Labels & Trims
Main labels, care labels, size labels, woven patches, and branded hardware fitted to the sample for visual and structural review against brand requirements.
Stitching & Structure
Stitch type, seam allowance, topstitching width, bartack placement, and structural panel construction reviewed on the physical sample for consistency and quality.
Colour & Placement
Artwork size, position, and colour confirmed against approved references. Placement is marked on the pattern and documented as part of the production specification.
Feedback & Revision
After receiving the prototype, you can provide feedback on any aspect of the sample. We work through revisions based on confirmed comments until both sides are satisfied with the result.

The approved sample becomes
your production standard.
Once the final sample is confirmed by both sides, it serves as the definitive reference for all subsequent bulk production. Every aspect of the approved sample is documented and carried through to manufacturing.

After sample approval, we re-evaluate the bulk quantity, unit cost, production timeline, and quality control requirements before confirming the production plan.
Consistent Production
Bulk garments are produced and inspected against the confirmed sample. Measurement, workmanship, colour, and technique are checked before shipment.
