At Yizhe Studio, cut and sew production starts with your product information, confirmed patterns and selected fabrics. Each garment is cut into separate components and assembled through structured sewing and garment construction.
This service is suitable for custom silhouettes, panel construction, pockets, hoods, collars, rib components, zippers and branded details that cannot be achieved with pre-made blanks.

Pattern Layout &
Cut-Part Preparation
Before cutting begins, production information is reviewed and confirmed. This may include the tech pack, size chart, approved pattern or confirmed sample, fabric direction, color and trim requirements.
Individual garment components are then prepared according to the confirmed construction. These may include front and back panels, sleeves, hoods, pockets, collars, waistbands, cuffs and other structural parts.
Pattern Review
Review the confirmed pattern, measurements and garment construction.
Marker Planning
Arrange pattern pieces according to fabric direction and product requirements.
Fabric Cutting
Cut the required garment components according to the confirmed layout.
Component Bundling
Sort and group cut parts by style, size and production sequence.

Structured Sewing and
Garment Assembly
Each garment is assembled component by component, following the construction sequence confirmed during sample development. The sewing order, seam method and structural approach differ by product type and construction requirement.
Common assembly elements handled during the cut and sew process include:
Body Panels & Sleeves
Front and back panels joined with sleeves according to confirmed sleeve pitch and seam type.
Hoods, Collars & Ribbing
Hood panels, collar shapes and rib components attached following the confirmed style and construction detail.
Pockets, Waistbands & Cuffs
Pocket bags, welt openings, elasticated or rib waistbands and cuff construction handled to specification.
Zippers, Drawcords & Trims
Zip installation, drawcord channels, aglets and functional trim components fitted at confirmed placement points.
Seams, Topstitching & Reinforcement
Main seams sewn and reinforced at stress points. Topstitching applied where required for structure or visual detail.
Different products require different sewing sequences. Pattern shape, fabric weight, stretch properties, panel joining positions, and any downstream processes such as printing, embroidery or garment washing are all factored into how sewing is organised and scheduled.
This coordination is built into our sample development process, where construction methods are confirmed before bulk production begins.

Complex Details and
In-Process Inspection
Construction quality is monitored throughout production -- not only at the final stage. Checks are carried out at key steps during cutting, assembly and finishing.
Construction Details We Handle
Contrast or multi-panel construction with colour-blocked joining and matched seam lines
Curved and angled seams requiring precise notching, clipping and pressing
Gussets and reinforced areas in crotch, underarm or high-stress zones
Binding and edge finishing on hems, armholes and necklines
Layered pocket structures including welt, patch, and zippered pocket openings
Decorative and functional topstitching applied at confirmed stitch width and tension
Custom collar, cuff and waistband construction built to the confirmed pattern and measurement
In-Process Inspection Points
Quality checks are carried out at key stages throughout production, not only after the garment is finished. Inspection is part of how we manage consistency across a full production run.
Cut Accuracy
Component dimensions and panel shapes checked against the confirmed pattern after cutting.
Left-Right Symmetry
Structural balance verified at seam joining points, pocket placement and collar or hood attachment.
Stitch Consistency
Seams checked for skipped stitches, broken threads, puckering and irregular tension along the stitching line.
Component Placement
Pocket openings, zipper alignment, ribbing attachment and trim positioning confirmed against approved sample.
Semi-Finished Measurement Check
Key dimensions measured at intermediate stages and compared against the confirmed size chart and approved sample.
Our in-process checks are part of a broader quality control approach that covers production from cutting through to final garment inspection.

Finished Garment Quality
and Project Consultation
Once sewing and assembly are complete, each garment goes through a final inspection covering measurements, appearance, symmetry, construction and finishing before it is packed and shipped.
Measurement Verification
Finished garment measurements compared point by point against the confirmed size chart and approved sample.
Overall Appearance
Garment reviewed for shape, pressing, fabric surface, colour consistency and general visual presentation.
Seam & Workmanship
Seams, topstitching and construction details inspected for consistency and accuracy across the finished batch.
Thread Ends & Surface
Loose threads trimmed and garments checked for stains, marks or surface issues before folding.
Trims & Labels
Zippers, buttons, eyelets, drawcords and other hardware checked for function, placement and attachment.
Labels & Packaging
Main labels, care labels, size labels, hangtags and folding or bagging method confirmed against client requirements before packing.
For projects that include printing, embroidery, garment washing, dyeing or branded finishing, these processes are coordinated and confirmed before bulk production begins. Artwork placement, wash standards and finishing requirements are agreed against the confirmed sample, so that the finished garment matches what was approved at the sample stage.
