Shipping Options
for Samples
and Bulk Orders.

We coordinate international shipping for samples and bulk clothing orders based on the destination, cargo volume, required timeline and confirmed shipping arrangements.

-- Section 01

International Shipping
Methods & Scenarios.

The right shipping method depends on your order size, weight, destination, and required lead time. Below is an overview of the three primary options available for OEM bulk and sample shipments.

Express Courier

DHL / FedEx / UPS

Express courier services are well suited for prototype samples, pre-production samples, and smaller-volume shipments where speed and door-to-door traceability are a priority. Ideal for initial development rounds where quick turnaround supports the approval process.

  • Suitable for samples and small-batch shipments
  • Door-to-door with tracking throughout
  • Suitable when faster delivery is required
Air Freight

Air Cargo

Air freight is appropriate for medium-volume bulk orders where delivery schedule is a meaningful factor. It provides a balance between transit time and cost compared to express courier, and is commonly used for seasonal collections and time-sensitive reorders.

  • Suitable for time-sensitive bulk orders
  • Cost-effective for moderate volumes
  • Coordinated via nominated forwarder
Sea Freight

Ocean Cargo

Sea freight is well suited for large-volume or cost-sensitive bulk orders where extended transit time is acceptable. LCL (less than container load) and FCL (full container load) options can be coordinated through your nominated freight forwarder or logistics partner.

  • Suited for large-volume bulk orders
  • LCL and FCL options available
  • Recommended for cost-sensitive shipments

Stage 01

Cartons Sealed & Marked

Finished garments are folded, bagged, and packed into export cartons. Each carton is labelled with shipping marks -- including destination, PO reference, carton number, gross weight, and net weight -- according to the client's requirements.

Stage 02

Packing List Verified

Before handover, the packing list is cross-checked against the confirmed order -- style, colour, size breakdown, quantity per carton, and total carton count. Any discrepancy is resolved before the shipment leaves the facility.

Stage 03

Handed Over to Forwarder

Once the packing list is verified and all cartons are ready, the shipment is handed over to the client's nominated freight forwarder. We coordinate pickup scheduling and provide all necessary documentation to support customs clearance and onward transit.

Yizhe Studio manages production and quality control up to the point of forwarder handover. Freight booking, customs clearance, and onward delivery are handled by the client's nominated logistics partner.

Client-Nominated
Forwarder &
Cargo Handover.

Clients who have an established relationship with their own freight forwarder or logistics agent are welcome to arrange collection directly from our facility in Dongguan. Yizhe Studio will coordinate the cargo handover according to your forwarder's confirmed instructions.

To ensure a smooth handover, please provide the following information from your nominated forwarder prior to the agreed shipping date.

Required Handover Information

  • 01

    Forwarder Contact Details

Company name, contact person, phone number, and email address of your nominated freight forwarder or logistics agent.

  • 02

    Warehouse or Collection Address

Full collection address in China if cargo is to be picked up from our facility, or the forwarder's local warehouse address if cargo is to be transferred.

  • 03

    Booking Reference or Cargo Number

Any booking reference, cargo receipt number, or shipment ID required by the forwarder for identification and collection.

  • 04

    Shipping Labels & Delivery Instructions

Shipping labels to be applied on cartons, plus any specific carton marking, stacking, or delivery requirements from your forwarder.

All handover arrangements should be confirmed prior to the agreed cargo-ready date to allow sufficient time for preparation and coordination.

Shipping Cost &
Time Factors.

Shipping costs and transit times vary based on a combination of factors specific to each shipment. No fixed rates or guaranteed transit windows are quoted here, as these depend on current carrier conditions and the specific details of your order.

Destination & Shipping Route

The destination country, port, and region directly influence both cost and transit time. Routes with limited direct coverage or requiring multiple transit stages may result in longer delivery windows and higher freight rates.

Actual & Volumetric Weight

Freight charges are based on whichever is greater -- actual gross weight or volumetric weight calculated from carton dimensions (L × W × H ÷ divisor). Compact, efficient packaging can reduce the chargeable weight and overall shipping cost.

Carton Count & Total Volume

Total carton count, combined gross weight, and total cubic volume determine the most suitable shipping mode. These figures indicate whether express courier, air freight, LCL sea freight, or FCL is the most practical and cost-effective option for a given shipment.

Selected Shipping Method & Timing

Express courier, air freight, and sea freight each carry distinct cost and transit time profiles. The most suitable method is determined by balancing your delivery schedule against freight cost. Shipping during peak periods -- such as pre-holiday seasons or around Chinese New Year -- may affect both availability and rates.

Special Packaging or Handling Requirements

Standard export carton packaging is included as part of the production process. Additional fees may apply only when specific packaging or handling requirements are confirmed in advance -- such as retail-ready packaging, fragile-item protection, or other non-standard export preparation. Any applicable costs will be communicated and agreed upon before production begins.

A Note on Shipping Estimates

Shipping costs and transit times are confirmed once cargo details are finalised and a shipping plan is agreed upon. We do not publish fixed rates or transit windows, as these depend on current carrier schedules, route availability, cargo specifics, and destination requirements. Contact us with your shipment details to receive an informed recommendation.

-- Section 04

Packaging, Carton Marks
& Shipping Documents.

Proper packaging and complete documentation support a smooth customs clearance process and protect goods during transit. All packaging and document requirements should be confirmed before the cargo-ready date.

Packaging Standards

  • Individual Garment Packaging

Each piece is typically folded and packed in a polybag. Specific polybag thickness, folding method, size labelling on bag, or header card requirements should be specified in advance.

  • Outer Carton Construction

Standard export cartons are used unless a specific carton specification is provided. Carton strength, dimensions, and quantity-per-carton ratios should be confirmed to meet shipping requirements.

  • Size & Colour Assortment

Carton packing ratios by size, colour, or style should be confirmed. Mixed cartons or solid-colour/size cartons can be arranged according to client requirements.

  • Barcodes & Inner Labels

If hang tags, price stickers, barcode labels, or other retail-ready marks are required, these must be provided or confirmed during the pre-production stage.

Carton Marking (Shipping Marks)

Standard carton marks include the following information. Any specific format required by the client or forwarder should be provided prior to packing.

Consignee name & address Country of origin Carton number (e.g. 1 of 20) Gross & net weight Carton dimensions (cm) PO / Order reference

Shipping Documents

Standard export documents are prepared for each shipment. Additional certificates or document formats should be discussed and confirmed in advance.

  • Commercial Invoice
  • Packing List
  • Bill of Lading (sea) or Airway Bill (air/express)
  • Certificate of Origin (if required)
  • Other certificates as agreed per destination

All packaging specifications, carton mark formats, and document requirements should be confirmed during the pre-production stage. Last-minute changes to documentation may affect the shipping schedule.

Customs, Tracking
& Your Responsibilities.

Clearing goods through customs in the destination country is the responsibility of the importer or the client's nominated customs broker. Yizhe Studio supports this process by providing accurate shipping documentation and logistics information.

Customs & Import Duties

Import duties, taxes, VAT, and any other levies applicable to goods entering the destination country are the responsibility of the importer. The applicable rates vary by country, product type, declared value, and trade agreements in effect.

Yizhe Studio provides accurate commercial invoices and packing lists to support customs declaration. We do not provide customs brokerage services, and we are not responsible for delays, inspections, or charges arising from the import clearance process.

For shipments to EU, US, UK, or other regulated markets, clients are advised to confirm HS codes, import compliance requirements, and any applicable labelling regulations with their customs broker or trade advisor before placing the order.

Important Note on Clearance Times

Customs inspection and clearance timelines are controlled by the destination country's authorities and are outside the control of Yizhe Studio or the freight carrier. We recommend accounting for potential clearance processing time when planning your delivery schedule.

Logistics Tracking & Updates

Once goods have been shipped, we provide the relevant tracking information including the tracking number, shipping method, and carrier details.

For express courier shipments, tracking updates are typically available through the carrier's online tracking portal. For air freight and sea freight shipments coordinated through a nominated forwarder, tracking updates are generally managed by the forwarder.

We are available to assist in confirming shipment status and coordinating with the forwarder for updates as needed throughout the transit period.

Our Logistics Support Scope

  • Preparing and providing accurate export documentation
  • Coordinating cargo handover with your nominated forwarder
  • Sharing tracking numbers and shipment references upon dispatch
  • Responding to shipment status enquiries during transit
  • Note: We do not control customs inspection, clearance timelines, or in-country delivery conditions
